Buying a laptop - have norrowed it down to these...

    Hi, im hoping to buy a laptop within the next few weeks. Il need it for running multimedia related programmes and a little gaming. My price range is around 1000euros. Im thinking of getting either this from komplett.ie or this or this from laptopsdirect.ie

    The problem with the last one is it doesnt seem to have a modem. Is it possible to install a modem afterwards?

    Also, im not too sure about processors. which has the best? And what is the difference between the graphics cards?

    Thanks for any help you can give me!

    You can get an external modem but they all come with ethernet cards so if you have broadband then you won't need the 56k modem.

    The laptop that you have listed from komplett.ie (Acer Aspire 5612 WLMi Laptop ) is listed on laptopsdirect.ie for €827.71 ---a saving of €151.29!!!
