[VB 2005] List Folder Security Group

hello

I have been racking my head over this...

I want to list all the security groups of a folder (like the ones that you see in the security tab of the properties form of a folder)

I have been looking at the DirectorySecurity namespace but no joy....

any ideas? ... I'm begining to wonder if this is even possible

not really, that lets me add and remove groups, but not actually show what groups that the folder currently has, thanks though.

hummm, still struggling

I have found the DOS command

CALCLS folder_name

this outputs pretty much what I need, now I need to wrap it in some VB2005

thanks for that Ginger, I had come across that 2nd link before, and it appears to do what I want it to do, I'll let you know how I get on converting to VB

Seem to have cracked it - I will have to tart it up a little first, but this basically gets what I need
