It's something I don't really understand but for a project I'm doing I need to do the graphics in "Vector". What software would I need to get for my PC in to graphics in vector? Dose any know would is it be expensive. I was told it would be best with vector graphics with adobe illustrator? Would I have to upgrade my graphics card as well?

first off, what graphics card do you have? chances are you won't need to get new hardware.

second, adobe illustrator is the best software for the job (in conjunction with photoshop), but no doubt there's some free alternatives if you can't afford it

Illustrator or http://inkscape.org are your real choices (Second being free but nowhere near as good as Illustrator. Freehand and Corel Draw are out of the running, these days.)

What's your computer's spec.? Hardware (RAM, CPU, video card)? OS?
