    But i do have a question (not just a negative post) do nlw have a school or will they set one up? i was going to go to dcw but i want to see all my options.

    FFPW seems to effectively be NLW's school.
    NLW guys like Justin Shape and Philly the Kid are trainers there.

    iww claiming to have the best and most professional trainers?.... Mandrake is gud but how wuld he be beter than bingo and bruiser and bam and viper when they trained him?

    Use your logic and no wrestler can be better than his coach ;)

    Both Mandrake and Supermodel wrestle a good 50+ matches a year for IWW and they both take Indie bookings in the UK. Mandrake has an extensive martial arts background and both have wrestled a rake of ex WWE/TNA names in his time as well so you can't say he isn't experienced. That's not to diss any other trainer, that's just the low down on the IWW guys.

    dint they have a show with no ring be4? yeah same guys.

    i was a diehard iww fan from season 1 whiplash tv but i couldnt afford to waist my money on it anymore after the terrible shows i went to in 09.

    Mandrake is gud but how wuld he be beter than bingo and bruiser and bam and viper when they trained him?

    or ffpw wich has been around the longest of all?

    false claims by a company without even a place to hold training imho

    The ring has nothing to do with the men involved or their training experience. (& on the subject while the ring not being at a show was completely unprofessional there has been 100+ since then, and probably the same before that & it never happened before or since, things happen unfortunately)

    Mandrake trained in England before IwW & since he has wrestled for us has been in ring with 14+ former WWE & TNA wrestlers not to mention English, American & Japanese wrestlers.

    The info on that Facebook page, lists all of the trainers professional credentials, which are fact, not opinion. nothing on this page is a "claim". This information is given along with photos, and VIDEO of both performers. As said on the page, it is up to the potential trainee to decide whats best for them, based on the information given. What you see is what you get. If their style of wrestling/physiques, etc. isn't for you then by all means train elsewhere.

    @FFPW: Why did FF pull out of the NWA?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 146 ✭✭Rawm2008

    If what you read on the net is true the NWA asks for alot of money for yearly membership under there banner, dont know if still true to this day but it used to be years ago when the NWA name still meant something around the world.

    Also to add to FFPW credentials in the game of one up man-ship against IWW, at least they have a fulltime fully equipped facility to be trained in, not you having to travel the whole way across the country every other weekend to maybe get an hour maybe two if your lucky!

    agreed.
    But, within saying that IWW always ran more shows than nwa ireland/ffpw did. So currently while FFPW is clearly a better place for a person to learn how to wrestle, iww would be clearly be a better place to wrestle as it runs more shows. as all the experienced pros says, you learn in the ring.
    But of course thats only comparing iww to ffpw. As a wrestler, one has more options in this country beyond the two.

    @Balasubbie

    We decided to drop the NWA name when Fergal Devitt & Paul Tracey decided to step back from the training school. We decided as a school that we did not need the name to move forward.

    @Rawm2008

    Its not so much a game of one up man-ship against IWW. Its more like we are just advertising ourselfs. A new trainees can read this today and decide for himself which is the better option for him/her. Thanks for positive.

    Anyone have an updated list of wrestling schools? Seems like a few have closed in the last few years?
