Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

I have to go and look at a computer later that is having a problem with video input. It was working fine up to yesterday and then the computer was moved. It's an ibm p4 with 512mb sdram on 3 chips. I got the people that own the computer to check all the connections and and open the pc and make sure the video card was seated properly (pci nvidia geforce 5700). that all checks out. I just need some quick ideas on things to try out.

I am going to remove the ram and run up on 1 chip first. I think it's unlikely that the graphics card has somehow switched itself to DVI output when it was running fine on the vga output. I will check that the fan is turning on the graphics card when i start the computer. I belive another monitor has been tried on it but that didnt work either. Any ideas no matter how remote will be greatly apreciated.

    thanks
