Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I own a laptop that resembles a hoover, yes the Toshiba Equim A60:(
Now, what I've been doing is seeing which of the Windows Services an average PC user would not need in-turn getting the best possible performance from my machine.
The only 5 of the 96! windows services that need to be running(unless you have a printer hooked up) are:

    1). Remote procedure call(RPC)
    2). Plug and Play.
    3). DCOM Server Process launcher.
    4). DHCP Client.
    5). Windows Audio.

Im posting this as I know for all of us gamers out there, an improvment in FPS is more than welcome.
I see 20%~ performance jump grom my box using the above.

Another proccess that you do not need running all of the time is Explorer.exe!

Call up your task manager and turn off explorer before you need to work on something. It can restarted by simply running it from TM when you need it:)
