I'm in Skerries. We had some heavy rain here earlier this evening. Haven't seen any of the white stuff yet but I'm delighted to see some of you guys have already. Tomorrow may be interesting! I'm keeping the fingers crossed!

I live there, though I was driving home from Dublin at the time and the sleet/snow was worst at Gormanston to the north of Balbriggan. I was hoping the higher ground would help but I only came home to wet ground and rain, not even sleet, petering out. I missed the interesting weather!!:(

I didn't see any accident, though it was probably about a mile further north from me, where the motorway is highest.

Wet sleet and rain this morning in showers.

    4.2c

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,329 ✭✭✭arctictree

    Bright, windy here, +3.0 c.

Nice covering of snow on the mountains - down to 500M I'd say.

Lug is shrouded in cloud and snow fields are peaking out from under the clouds. Must be mad up there!

    Lets see how today goes!

Moderate sleet for the last near half hour, with an even mix of flakes and drops for the most part.
