    Mmmk, time to pick a day for this, I'd be looking forward to a good auld meetup. Some of us have exams (me, tar.... em... probably others) which is why I'm giving about 2 weeks notice.

    If you have more suitable dates/venues to suggest, go ahead.

    Gimme some more dates, they're only provisional anyway and I'm around whenever. Midweek suits me better but I thought most people would prefer weekends

    EDIT: I have no edit function on my first post. This is a farce. I demand redress. I'm announcing a double whammy boards beers based on the votes: The first one will be Friday 15th in the Roisin and the second will be Thursday 22nd in the Blue Note. Show up for both if you can.

    So...venue.

    Roisin's is large, but will possibly be full with change of band.
    Blue Note is a tad cosier imho, has tradition on its side, but some folk don't like it for some reason. And will possibly be full.
    Bierhaus needs some seating adjustments and is always pretty full with conversation-inhibitingly-loud music.

    Not too sure if I'll be attending, see what happens on the night in question. Anyway, as for places... How about Sally Longs? Could easily secure a couple of tables near the front where the music can't be heard.
