static electricity laminate flooring

    I am having serious problems with static on my new laminate flooring, anyone got any ideas? A guy came and put copper around the edges but it dosnt work. Any imput appreciated.

    Have you tried running an earth strap from the copper to the earth connection on a plug socket? 'might reduce the buildup.
