Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Camcorder from USA, will it work in Ireland?

    My pal is considering buying a new JVC Enverio 30GB hard disk camcorder from USA via Ebay.

    Does anyone know would this work on European tv's as i think we are PAL format which i think is different to USA?

    I think the recording should be grand as it's in mpeg. It may also just record at NTSC standard 480 60i rather than PAL 576 50i, but that shouldn't be a massive problem. I think it's more the output from the AV out of the camcorder to check about.
    If it outputs in NTSC, most new TVs accept NTSC

    The power adaptor 9 times out of 10 are 110-240 50/60 hz capable. Make sure he asks all these questions from the seller.
