Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We'll take anyone on the way we're playing, but I'd fuppin love a shot at number 29, revenge on 'Appy 'Arry would be so damn sweet.

Not looking forward to a trip to Cardiff, either on or off the field...:(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,198 ✭✭✭kensutz

Tamworth away, no doubt this will be on tv as BBC and Sky like to show potential upsets in the cup.

@therecklessone: Cardiff isn't as bad as people make it out to be. We always have a good laugh with some of the fans in and around the city. You should be fine there.

Heres hoping, decent draw for tamworth, would have rathered a "bigger" day out, you know what i mean though. if im headin to the united v villa game, will be in that tamworth region that weekend, should be some buzz. some of the relations are villa, some support tamworth.

    Cardiff v Spurs..............Oh dear.

Whats the bets this will be a noon kick off to try nullify the threat of crowd trouble? Some Cardiff fans don't take kindly to their day tripping London counterparts.

Noon kickoff (in more ways than one!) is a cert, probably Saturday.

    or

arsenal could be out of the champions league in the next couple of days, liverpool could knock their henry dependant asses out of the fa cup and arsenals season could be over

    if's and buts

If you think 3 goals (including two penos that shouldn't have been) against a woeful Spurs side show they're not gonna miss Henry in a big way, you're off your rocker. Hell, a half decent back 4 would have played a decent offside trap and stopped their one goal from open play...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,117 ✭✭✭✭MrJoeSoap

Adebayor looked quality yesterday, regardless of who he was up against. With Hleb, Ljungberg, Walcott, Rosicky, van Persie, Fabregas and co. working around him Arsenal are more than capable of ripping teams apart. They're looking dodgy at the back, thats where they're going to struggle.

You can only play whats put on front of you.

Arsenal will be up for this game in a big way. Cant wait for Arsenal to teach them another lesson in football

On the same note they are more than capable of falling apart like they did twice last week.

True, but its hardly due to missing Thierry Henry, which is my point.

Indeed. We were sh*t, you were the better side. Does it change anything I said above re. your three goals? No.

Sure what does it matter, it's Newcastle's turn to win the FA Cup - 6th favourites and good value at 35-1 on Betfair.

Ya Arsenal are away but its the FA cup and the whole of the Anfield road end will be taken up by thousands of mad gooners so its not as clear cut as it sounds on paper!

    Remember 89?

Well if you'd engage your brain instead of resorting to rolleyes you might have noticed the subtext of the post and not assumed I was making a smartarse comment.

Just to make it clearer, Highbury may have had a reputation for having a poor atmosphere but Arsenal's away support has (and still is) traditionally been very good. It's a lot easier for the hardcore support to make a lot of noise when they are grouped together and not isolated and compensating for a silent majority.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,213 ✭✭✭✭therecklessone

And that explains why you brought 3 coach loads to Zagreb and why I could have heard a pin drop from your end the couple of times I've witnessed your thousands of mad gooners?

    Brain engaged...
