Need App to Password protect USB flash drive

    The story: Bought Disgo U3 drive. Did'nt like the U3 setup so used official installer to remove it.. Now I've no way of password protecting the usb. Have looked at all download sites, unable to find anything . As the usb cost €24 don't want to spend more tha €5 on app to lock it.

    We're not suffering, only complaining 😞

    Truecrypt is free and better than most of the commercial stuff and can protect files on a usb flash drive.

    Hi cozmick, yeah will visit your 2nd link, Portable Vault v2.0.4.0 and check it out. For the moment I have TrueCrypt on the usb and it works well. Was looking for something much more straight-forward, with fewer options and without a 100 odd page manual. You never know I might even hear something back from my Disgo support request. Not holding my breath on that one though. Portaable Vault is $15, somehow the "open source" and free TrueCrypt just got better
