Hi is there anywhere on the net i can download a basic software to produce invoices and store a record of them. then next time a customer calls i just put in the name or phone number and can add another invoice to that name or phone number so i can keep a record of repeat customers.
There might be better systems than this, if anyone can recommend any site or company then please do so.
Any help and advice will be appricated
    Thanks in advance

Savman, i just checked out the microsoft website it was of great help i never knew they gave out those templates.
But i am looing for a software that has all the invoices in it, that numbers them itself numerically, and also its easier so i can check back on invoices whereas using office it might get lost or misplaced.

    thanks for your help

Have a look at Mamut. It is free. I don't know what it is like as I am downloading it myself but the Enterprise version has won awards.

quickbooks regular or quickstart would be great.

If you want free, take a look at turbocash

Office templates are good too, but with the above its easier to track debtors.

how about Microsoft Small Business Accounting itself

there is a free version available on the microsoft website and it's pretty cool

    http://www.ideawins.com/

seriously this is the way all these applications are going. This product is going to be a serious contender against Sage, Pegasus, Exchequer etc.

    Actually looking through the Faq
    Q. What is the international availability of Office Accounting Express 2007?

Microsoft Office Accounting Express 2007 is currently available within the USA only. At this stage, no plans exist for international availability of the product, with the exception of the UK. In May 2006, Microsoft Offer Accounting 2007 (UK version) entered Beta testing in the UK with a targeted set of customers and partners. Once Beta testing is completed and the results have been fully reviewed, further updates will become available on the UK product launch. We anticipate having these updates in the first half of calendar year 2007.

i downloaded this , its very good and its a one software for all needs like devolping letters, promotions, accounting, invoices, etc.
I would think the euro version will be out next year as microsoft is fast and they know the market is available.

and of course it seems easy to use.
