Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Depends on the size of the station. A small temporary station could get away with a handset connected to an application like Nokia Data Suite. If you are a larger station with a high rate of incoming messages you would have to use a bespoke and more sophisticated application.

And I take it that to set up this kind of operation that it would cost a bundle?

There are companys that will get you a number like 51010. It's a premium text number, you take a precentage and they take a precentage.

We didn't particularly like overcharging our listeners so we've stuck with the Nokia Data Suite solution which works really well... you just have to clear out the phones memory on a regular basis.
