Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I know it's been suggested, but Dark side of the Mood would be fanastic.

it'd also be nice if RTE decided to show the Wizard of Oz at the same time

I'm currently in negotiations with RTE to get this arranged! ;)

If the negotiations do break down however I'll still go ahead with the album! I'll try and get that in the next few weeks! It's on "The List"!

Excellent! It's been a while since we got any suggestions!

Pulp will deffinatly be given a run soon! One Hot Minute is an interesting choice...not the strongest of albums I would think...but has a good story, as do most RHCP albums! Iron Maiden will also be a great one to do! I'll ad them to the list on the archive page (www.phantom.ie), thanks Eddie Specs.

    In the time being though.......

Next week on the Album Archive we'll be looking at Jeff Buckley's "Grace". Sat 31st March at 9pm! Only on Phantom 105.2!

A few (well three) I would find interesting

The Arcade Fire EP: interesting for people who don't own it to hear the band before Funeral.

Decemberists The Tain: One 19 minute long track split into 5 movements. Honestly I think its impossible for this album to ever be played on the radio its just too awkward, but still, would be nice if someone gave it a go :P

Final Fantasy He Poos Clouds: THE best album of 2006 by one of the most talented young musicians alive today. Irish mythology, viscous satire, a love song to Link from the Legend of Zelda and apparently 8 of the songs relate to the schools of magic from Dungeons and Dragons. Not being a fan of D&D I can't confirm that but still the album rocks!

EP is only about 30 mins long but I'm sure if we were looking at Funeral we would include most of it

Again same problem...only 20 minutes...but I'd love to get that on Phantom somehow alright!

Hey Derek, it's just one of those albums I picked up as a teen and thought it was weird as hell. The intro and then crash into "Warped" and the beautifully depressing "My Friends" and not forgetting that great tune "aeroplane" makes up the Chili's most alternative experimental work ever.

Yeah, Aeroplane is a fantasic tune alright! But I think the albums' story would be more than enough to warrant a place on the hitlist! Added.

    Meanwhile.....

Next week on the Album Archive we'll be looking at Beck's 1996 release "Odelay".

This Saturday 7th of April at 9pm, only on Phantom 105.2

Ah yes, back in the magic days when the Chilis lyrics were only 40pc nonsensical, compared to the current 100pc level.. Good times, lads.

    Good times.

    Good choices there alright!!!

    Next week:

Want to hear an album written almost entirely about the suicide of the lead singers sister and his mother's death from cancer? An album written about the sudden realisation that you are the only one left alive in your family. But an album with a recurring theme of coping, learning to deal with loss, and moving on.

Well next week on the album archive we'll be looking at the Eels' Electroshock Blues. Next Saturday at 9pm on Phantom 105.2!

Next week on the Album Archive we'll be taking a close look at the 2004 self titled album by the Libertines!!!

So tune in from 9pm on Phantom 105.2

Super stuff. Can I suggest "Moon Safari" by Air?

The UK single version of "Kelly Watch The Stars" is an underplayed gem of a track. :)
