Ps2 mod

My brother in law is looking to get his PS2 modded . I have a modded Xbox , running linux and some homebrew games . He wants to be able to play homebrew games on his ps2 . I have modded quite a few xboxes , but dont have a clue when it comes to the ps2 . Any suggestions ?

I don't have a ps2 just out of interest what home brew games are there that are good?

havent a clue , probably the usual suspects , doom , hexen etc..
