why you using the net then :p

The net's still cheaper for buying some things than going into Argos. The digital cameras in there cost on average about €100 more than online retailers, even Irish ones.

I just couldn't resist making a dig at Argos and their overpriced digital cameras, seeing as there's a member of staff on this board ;)

Yes, because the staff set the prices.... Like I apparently set the petrol prices for a multi national petrol/oil and exploration company when I worked in a garage. Jesus, the amount of people I had to listen to moaning about the petrol price...... DON'T FÚCKING DRIVE THEN!

Speaking of Argos, it's a pity they haven't upgraded to an Argos Extra and move out to the likes of the business park on the Ring Road near Woodies/DID. I got the new catalogue the other week and there's a load of stuff in it that you can only buy on the spot in an Extra store. At least if it was in a retail park, you could pull the car up to the door and lug out the flatpacks with relative ease.
