Baked Ham?

How far ahead can/should you make a baked ham?

I usually like to give it at least 24 hours to allow the flavours to develop. I'm thinking this year I might make it on the 23rd, but I'm not sure how long we'll get out of it after that?

The meat should be very good quality - organic and pre-ordered from a butcher we know to do very high quality meat.

I would think that, provided it's properly stored, we should be good until the 27th or 28th.

    Any advice folks?

Your ham will be good for 5 to 7 days after cooking.
Keep it in the fridge wrapped in a tea towel.
