Since 1993 Mumblin' Deaf Ro has been in lots of bands that you have never heard of. Wiindings

Windings is one man and lots of little noises..armed with a voice, a guitar and lots of little pedals windingsas a truly distinctive one man show. The eponymous album out now on Out On A Limb Records (home to Waiting Room, giveamanakick, Rest and Ten Past Seven). Recorded in bursts over a four year period, "windings" was finally whittled down to 14 songs late 2004.. . It flits from lo-fi acoustic melodies to Scuzzy rock, from woozy instrumentals to ambient electronic pieces, from pure pop to dirgy almost-metal, all of which makes for a truly original and invigorating listening experience. Windings has played with the likes of Smog, The Handsome Family, Bob Mould, Tom McRae, Clayhill, Malcolm Middleton, Okerville River and FlyPanAm, so if you're into any of them, chances are you might be into windings

"Melodies that will get you every time…a compelling debut album"
    Jim Carroll, The Ticket
"Windings" is a (mostly) quiet, left-field gem with enough diversity to ensure you're with him all the way"
    whisperinandhollerin.com
"windings' sound is simple, seductive and so pared-down that you’ll find yourselfbeing totally bowled over"
