Transit van - cant lock it!

Long shot but I'm after borrowing a ford transit van tonight and now when I go to lock it it just kinda unlocks itself again 2 seconds later. This happens when I do it from both the doors inside and from outside with the fob. I'm certainly its just something stupid that I'm missing, but what?! Cant locate any manuals and…

Cant locate any manuals and wont be able to talk to the owner until the morning, does anyone out there drive one know what I'm doing wrong here?

A door (there are more than two!) not properly closed, I imagine.
