I'd like to constrict how much bandwidth a PC has on the LAN from Broadband.

I need to do this either from my PC or the router, is this possible?

What router - I'm sure some of the bigger cisco's can do this but not commonly found at home.

    What OS ?
linux/bsd pc's have plenty of traffic shaping utils as part of the OS, windows doesn't

squid/squidnt can limit bandwidth but messy to set it up for one PC
