This is one of two sister ships that were sunk by the German Uboat, U62 in 1917. The Formby was lost on December 16, 1917 with the loss of 37 crew and 2 passengers, nearly all Waterford persons. Míse fresian, some people say history is a thing of the past but this is our living history and should never be forgotten. It was well done and fair play to those that put it together boy.
