christmas means different things to different people, for some its deeply religious for others its about a fat man giving presents. And we all have different ways of celebrating it, whats particularly christmas for you?

Xmas ads (Coke, Bud and Guinness)
Xmas food, big dinners and lots of sweets (Turkey and Ham, not exclusive to the holidays but for €5 in the student bar thats pretty sweet)
War films (dunno why but theres loads of em on round xmas)
    Xmas Panto

I really want to see a panto this year, but alas Im strapped for cash. If anyone has any idea where I could see a cheap(€15 max), yet decent panto (i dont care if its run by a primary school if its funny), in dublin please let me know!

Funny how neither shopping, mass, decorations or presents are central to my xmas.

As an athiest I don't celebrate the Christian festival but somewhere in me is a Pagan trying to get out. I love the idea of regeneration and the end of winter... so I celebrate the Solstice.

I hate the commercialism which has become the "hallmark"... pun intended... of the season.

Love the dark evenings, the good moods, the hustle and bustle of the City centre, the music, the films, the Cadbury's Roses (TM) and hopefully...

    the snow!

    Chucked from AH.
Well as much as I complain about the crowds in the different shopping centres, I still like going out and being among that. Of course good food, nice company and something on the telly (bring on the DVDs as the telly is rubbish). Simple enough here.
