    Oooof,

    I probably prefer the Who but i wouldnt say ones better than the other as i dont believe in that sort of thing!

    Tricky! Different stokes of course. Zep proberly more consistant but only around 12 years.

    Do you mean a heaviness or general competition? :D

    Not many bands were heavier than the Who 69-72 (check out middle part of 'A Quick One on the 'Rolling Stones rock and roll circus')

    I really like Zep but love The Who. No contest.

    Dear Son,

    I appreciate that band vs band threads annoy you but it is outside of my jurisdiction to advise people on a public board on what they are allowed to post, not least as to be so impertinent to suggest that they all deal in opinions and not facts. A music board is no place for opinions my son, only for mojo-esque reams of facts and zzzzz. Oh sorry son, I dozed off.

    Anyway, I suggest that you ignore such threads in future.

    A handy tip would be to watch for the following syntax in a thread name:

    {Band name} Vs {Band name}

    This will give you a hint as to which threads to ignore and you can avoid undue annoyance.

    Your renewed Mojo subscription is in the post.
