Date help please

Ok, myself and my girlfriend met on the 11th of April 06. We are trying to figure out how many months that we've been going out, may sound dumb I know, but it is annoying me. She says that its 9 months at the end of December, I say its 9. Who is right? Or are we both wrong?

Mid-teens and a couple for 8 months? Nice going you two. There are a lot of so called adults in their 20s and 30s that don't make it that long (even when they try).

I thought the link was going to be to a calendar or perhaps a rough guide to the complicated task of counting on your fingers.

I counted on my fingers to get the answer. It can be tricky though! You can get confused about what finger you're on very easily.
