Hi. I have setup a static IP address on my laptop and portforwarded the IP and port number on my Zyxel router and saved it, the problem is the router keeps assigning a new ip address every time I boot what have I done wrong ? , Im on BT 3 meg

The router is probably set to use DHCP. Turn that off on the router and tell it what IPs to use.
