Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I want to set up a wireless network which includes my PC and laptop. I am at present purchasing a dell laptop and with it I have inculded a Wireless Access Point and Base Routers: Belkin F5D7230 Wireless Router DSL/Cable (802.11g). My PC has a Netopia Wireless Modem connected to it. I am enquirying what is entailed in setting up the wireless network, what i need to get etc?

Is that a Netopia Wireless Modem as in a DSL modem with a built in wireless router ?

If so then you don't need the Blkin wireless router you bought.

is the same as the netopia modem/wireless router and so it was pointless to buy it.

When your laptop arrives, you should be able to connect directly to the wireless network of the Netopia modem. Hope Dell didn't rip you off too much for it.

I tried to do this and got nowhere. Does one of the PCs have to be plugged into the router's uplink port?
