    Last september we bought a new three piece suite from a furniture shop in Cork. we put down a deposit and we assured by the salesman we would have the suite by mid-november.It's now two weeks before Christmas and after many assurances from the shop that it was in a container on a ship on it's way to us...it :mad: still has not arrived! Any suggestions on what we can do to get our suite would be welcomed.

    There's loads of these threads. Seems the solution is that you can demand your money back or sit tight and wait for them to deign to give you your suite. You could also try to negotiate a discount because of the delay. These companies seem to make a lot of promises they can't keep.

    I had this problem also! with the same reply ship was delayed from China we waited over 4 months and still no suite so we went to the shop and got our money back.Now we paid for another leather suite in a different shop and still waiting for delivery.I cant understand how they can make promises and get away with it:mad: :mad:
