Applegreen petrol - Why two prices?

Just spotted the Applegreen station in Celbridge yesterday and noticed that they had two different prices displayed for both petrol and diesel. A normal rate, which seemed reasonable, and a discount rate, which was very good.

Anybody know what's the catch with the cheaper rate?

    TIA

If you get your car washed they'll give you a discount of 5 cent a litre on petrol. That's what the second price is.
