    What's on frame 78?

I find presentations done in flash are a pain in the butt. They may work well on your computer but if you have to transfer it to another PC it may not work the same. This is if you have audio and images/video. And then when your boss wants it to play on his DVD player it's a real hassle to convert it I find. Usually with lossy quality.

Have you got audio going with the presentation? Are you using actionscript formulas? Is the movie simply vector art? How large/compressed are the images.

Not really much to go on if you don't give much information to start with dude. :/

    Sorry, what does that mean!

Are you using a Mac? Are you using a transparent background?

argh thought i had fixed it a different way but it never worked. when the layer is blank it plays fine but when i fill the layer with an image (the twelve layer) it reduces the frame rate to about 3fps. I have no idea why its doin this :( is there a maximum amount of animated layers in one scene or sumthing like that? or a way to set the frame rate just for those particular frames and not the whole document?

You can't change the frame rate, no. And I don't think there is a max layer number, especially not 12 layers.

Your best bet is to do some good testing. You should be creating a test movie with one layer and just that image. You have to whittle down the possibilities that are making this movie fail. Shame you aren't really giving much more to go on here..

    Good luck.

Apart from the questions I asked previously - are you using tweens on the image? Fade in/out? Is the gif an animated gif? Can you post the image up here? Can you post a small copy of the fla here?

zip it up is probably your best bet and attach the zip.

i cant get it smaller than 100kb zipped without takin out a layer and if i take one out it works :*(

You've removed the frames before and after frame 78 right?

em, u should maybe check ur actionscript, i always find that wrecks the movie when u have actionscript on frame 1 on the wrong layer
