    Is it on the first page of the thread you get that popup?

    It's due to someone having something in their signature. Not sure who exactly yet though.

    No, every time I visit the thread, either from an email link to notify me of a reply or just browsing to it on the site.

    I thought it might have been a sig alright, but when it's happening every time I wasn't sure.

    It was byte's sig, at least one of the images were demanding authorisation to view. Now they're 404ing so I won't bother editting it on him, since no other rule is being broken (well, maybe its massive, but if that's the case I don't know, what with the 404s).
