Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wireless Home Network

    Hi,

I'm getting Wireless broadband from Digiweb installed shortly for my PC. My father is getting a new laptop and wants it to hook up the net.

For this I need to setup a wirless network, right?

Is this relatively straightforward? I need two PCI cards, and a router?

Should I attempt this or should I hire some sort of professional to do it?

    Thanks for any help

you need a wireless router and a network card in the pc. all pcs made in the last 5 years have network cards built in. the laptop will almost definitely have wireless built in so it can hook to the router easily

you should be able to do it yourself with only a small amount of hassle but if you slip me a score i'll do it for you :D
