in car dvd

    basically i got a dvd installed in my car but it wont play dvd+r/rw that have been recorded from the television via a dvd recorder however mp3/wma files recorded on these discs can be played
    why is this?

    Are the discs finalised? If not, they will play on a dvd recorder but not a player.

    im not sure ill have to check that out

    it says in the manual it cannot play DVD+R/RW discs previously recorded in video cd format
    does that mean recorded off the television via a dvd recorder?


    finalized the discs today some worked some didnt???
