Best Hard drive for A7v8x-x motherboard

Folks, Updating my harddrive on the Asus motherboard listed in the title and am wondering what I would be best advised to go for, especially with gaming in mind? Thanks to all who reply

A Western Digital drive is probably the best choice on Komplett at the moment as your board does not support SATA hard drives.

Though Dabs have the Hitachi 7TK500 drives in IDE form these are pretty fast so if speed is your primary concern I would consider one of these or the smaller capacity version but also cheaper.
