Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can anybody help me with this. I am rather new to Linux and don't know where to start. I have the wired connection working but I want to get the wireless working now. It's proving rather tricky.

Start by telling us which wireless hardware you're trying to set up in Ubuntu - manufacturer and model.

Off the top of my head but it may help:

    1. Add a networking applet to the taskbar. Right click around the clock and choose to add an applet. The networking one is near the end of the list.
    2. Right click or double click this new icon after you've added it.
    3. Is your wireless hardware listed here or only wired connections [if any]? I had to choose to activate a NIC after installing it. Sounds so simple but it was causing me a lot of stress.

If you need a driver [and if your hardware is supported], madwifi.org may well be able to get it working under Linux.
