I have been told today that it is almost certain that it was stolen in transit ..!!

Now I have to try get my money back from The guy in Germany.. Some hope I would say seeing as he has not bothered trying to contact me since the 18th

Sadly, he doesn't owe you a cent. Try to get a receipt, then bring the parcel company who lost it to the small claims court, or something.

I spoke to a customer relations person at DHL today.
He explained to me that.
I entered into a contract with the guy in Germany so it is with him I take the matter up with. Then in turn he takes it up with the carrier as it was he took the cotract of delivery out with them.

Basically, He refunds me then he claims his money back from Deutsche Post.
