    Hey i'm livivng in Cork and am thinking about buying an old Mini Cooper, anything between '91-'97, what i'm wondering is how easy it is to get parts etc. when it breaks down??:confused:

    Shouldn't be a problem getting them anywhere, if your unsuccessfull locally online from the UK would be a defo.

    I had a classic Mini about ten years ago and parts were easier to come by than for regular cars. There was even a magazine dedicated to the car, and I think it's still going. Do a little googling for "classic mini parts site:uk", you should find a ton of mail order companies.

    Oh man, good choice !! Go for it, you'll love it.

    Parts are VERY easy to come by (http://www.moss-europe.co.uk), Rimmer Bros also (I think).

    Very easy cars to work on too, so won't cost a packet.

    Glad to see someone's thinking outside the box :D

    there's a mini specialist of some kind in ballincollig on the link road next to celtic fuels BTW. i don't know anything about them though.

    Parts are easy to find.

    Join a free online Irish based club (like www.miniresource.com ) and you'll find that there are lots of people out there who can help you :)
