    Strange one this,

    Working a double page spread in Quark xpress, started it on OSX, Quark 6.5, Swapped over to XP Pro with Quark 7.0, no problems importing and converting the file across, everything is la-di-da until I export it as a PDF and the images all shift left away from the background image ...

    I'm absolutely boggled on this one ...

    not sure as i've not done much swapping between versions,
    however i've been told that going between versions can cause problems.

    considering that quark only displays previews of images, maybe its not showing you the problem on screen, only when it goes to print/create a pdf these problems show up.
    if you create a new quark doc and copy and past the content from old to new and save the new one that might sort your problem.
    definatly something to watch out for though.
