Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

O2 Roaming Question (Bill pay)

I was talking to O2 Customer Care a while ago to make sure roaming is set up on my phone before I head to London next week, and the person I was talking to mentioned she'd applied some add on to my account that meant I wouldn't be charged for receiving calls while I was there, and that if I made calls to o2 and landlines after 6pm (as per my usual price plan), they'd come out of my minutes rather than me having to pay seperately for them.

Has anybody else any experience of this? I had a call I'd been waiting for coming through so I had to cut the call a bit short but a quick look at their website and I haven't been able to find anything that offers what she said.

I'd appreciate if anyone knows one way or the other because as it was I was only going to bring my phone for emergencies but if I can use it then there's no need to be pining for my bf if I can ring him while I'm away! And I can't afford to risk it then face a huge bill when I get home, I'm a student.

    Thanks!

I'd ring customer care again before going, just to double-check.

To the best of my knowledge, the add-in you refer to applies to Personal customers in Northern Ireland only (and is free of charge). There is no add on for mainland Britain for personal customers AFAIK.

O2 Business Customers, on the other hand, get this offer for both NI and mainland GB.

Just in case I'm wrong and they've updated the offer, best ring again.

The add on for international roaming to come from your minutes has been unofficially added for personal customers. I would check with customer care again just to be sure! They wont do it unless specifically asked.

I've noticed this too. Was over in Manchester last week and made a call home to an O2 mobile after 6 pm, and I was only deducted minutes from my monthly allowance. Texts however cost 29c:(
