Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

A work colleagues blackberry has stopped receiving and sending mails for the past few days - like as if there is a problem with the connection. The only thing is the connection looks perfect as do all the other settings. Has anyone experienced similar problems?

    Cheers

    whats on the screen?
    GSM
    gprs
    GPRS

To use email it should have GPRS in uppercase

What type of mail is he supposed to be getting? COrporate exchange server or otherwise?

    The GPRS symbol is vital.

I would recommend doing a hard reset of the device. Depeninding on the model there should be a pinhole on the back of the device which you can insert a slender object into to hit a small button. Hitting this button will "reboot" the device. This pinhole may be inside the battery cover.

This reset has worked for the majority of issues such as this which I have encountered however the mail was coming from a corporate server, still I think it would be no harm doing this before going further.

I guess the company microsoft exchange server had to be rebooted and that fixed it.
