'Wenger has little doubt about the Ukrainian's pedigree, but believes it may be a while before Chelsea see the best of their star signing.

"Sometimes you need to be patient, sometimes you don't need to be," said Wenger.

Wenger's a torture. He's hardly the new Cantona - more like the new Alistair Campbell...he'll always find a way to spin something to make Arsenal look better.

It's typical sour grapes from him. Shevchenko's off form all right but no manager in their right mind wouldn't love him in their team.
