6 meg download on adsl???

Please see picture attached. I have noticed tonight my adsl connection is very erratic, coming & going. So when I logged into the modem it showed that I had a 6 meg download. I did not think this was possible on regular adsl? Could this be making my connection veryerratic?

I am with Magnet, I believe though that this is a bit stream product, so yes you could say im with Eircom. I think my line is not able for 6 mbit even though I am a walk away from the exchange. when downloading a file I cannot ever get it over 300k's!

magnet dont do bitstream, its LLU, also, the magnet service can connect at 15mbps and give you 5mbps stable at 1.5km line of sight rom exchange, or at least it does on my line.

Also, is it the business package you are on, since they provide telsey modems for the 'entertainment' range of packages.

Yes I was with Netsource first before it was taken over by Magnet, it is indeed the bitsrteam product.
