    OK, i think the Title:

    'Built Environment'

would encompass what i would like to see. This i believe would also prevent other engineers etc. from logging on and not finding info related to them.

The 'Built Environment' would be useful to a broad range of people currently not catered for on Boards, eg:

    Civil/Structural Engineers, Technicians
    Architects/Architectural Technicians
    Planners
    Health and Safety Officers
    Fire Officers
    Local Authority Staff
    Quantity Surveyors
    Mechanical Engineers
    etc.....

I would love this forum to be created as their is currently nowhere for this on Boards.

im tryin to get support for a specific 'Built Environment' Forum for all building/engineering/architectural/planning issues. Lend yer support at:

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showt...p?t=2055028973

if yed like to see such a forum

    cheers

I think there is already a architecture forum.
But one with a focus on construction and development would also be good.
    New link?

I have always felt that planning and subsequent related issues should have been in a sub forum.

Im not sure that the title "The built environment" is appropriate but Im backing the idea of the new forum though
