    Sorry, we don't know why you were banned. All we know is what your last post was.

    If there is a rule in the DIT forum of "you must not ask if the library is open tomorrow" then that's such a bizarre rule as to succeed in being funny (unless there was some history of people posting that question 5 times a day or something). Comedy rules shouldn't really exist outside of TCN and private forums but still.

    Or it could be a mod saw that post and thought "WTF? Didn't I permanently ban Lorax due to [insert ongoing series of offenses that we don't know about here]? Darn, aw well I'll do it now".

    Or it could have been a mistake.

    Or it could have a bunch of other possible explanations, justifiable or not.

    What did the mods say when you PMed them?
