    going to wongs tonight on clontarf road, is there any pubs nearb within 5 minute walking distance?

    You posted this in the wrong forum as Clontarf is in Dublin city,this may be why you got no reply.

    To answer your question,no is the answer.The Dollymount House was only about a 10 min walk from Wongs but that closed at the end of the summer.

    The Yacht is a good old hoof from Wong's. It's almost in Fairview.
    Before you get to that is the Sheds at the bottom of Vernon Avenue.

    There used to be a little hotel by the garage - is it shut?

    Better off going to Wrights in Howth. You should know your Wrights from Wongs. (sorry just thought of it yesterday, been dying to say it)

    If you are bussing it, just get off the bus at the Clontarf Court, next door to the yacht club. Have your couple of pints and then Wongs is really a 5-10 minute walk. Enjoy !
