    Coolaboola Events have teamed up with Fred this Christmas to once again bring the young music lovers of Cork a festive all-ages afternoon extravanganza that will rock your Christmas socks!

    This year has been a great success for Fred. As well as being one of Cork's most celebrated bands, they have recently returned from a well received tour of the States and this Christmas they will be entertaining the young indie-viduals of Cork with one of their electrifying live shows.

    Averaging at just 16 years old, it's amazing what KVX have already achieved! This five-piece all girl band from Cork appeared on RTE's "Jam" in 2005 where they spent a week learning from mentor Nick Seymore of Crowded House at The Ballyfermot Rock School, and have gone on to support the likes of The Chalets to name but a few! They are currently recording their debut EP. Watch this space!

    Last but definitely not least, Hanging Box are a Cork based quartet who recently launched their E.P "We Own Your Trees" by holding none other than a pyjama party! With their quirky sense of humour and sassy style of music, Hanging Box are sure to entertain!
