I'm still on the first, as I just reset after the "The End" screen sat there for ages, and didn't seem like it was gonna go. :( I was hoping for a secondary save thing like in WW/MM etc...

But I'm at this very minute at level 34 in the cave of ordeals, with two fairies in bottles and a jar of fairy tears. ;) Not needed to use anything yet...

You will... oh yes, you will.

Two little hints if you want them:
Use the ball and chain on the re-dead's with swords and save bomb-arrows until the last few rooms.

Yeah, had to use a fairy on the very next room!

And I know about that one! Works on the Stalfos too! But I hate those Ice guys that throw the spears and the big things that blow out icy air! (Those remind anyone else of the Sheegoths from Metroid? (had to look up what they're called! :D)

About to go into level 49...

Got two hearts left... and I have to face 3 of the toughest enemies!!! I should have gotten more red potions before coming down here, and more heart pieces!!! I've 15 hearts, came in here with 13 hearts, a jar of fairy tears and two fairies. :( Damnit, looks like I'll have to do it all again. :(

Put up a good fight and knocked a lot off them, but they got me. back to the drawing board!

    Nice pic! :D
Is the Hylian Loach a standard size or do they vary in size too?

    magic armour

I thought that was going to be the way to finish it, but then I put it on.
The most useless slice of armour since that for the horse!

Well by the time I got to room 49 I was wishing I had it, as it takes rupees when you get hit rather than health!
It's only useless if your wallet runs empty, at which stage it inhibits movement!

Yeah I must of just got annoyed when it started draining my lovely well earned 1000 rupees much quicker than I had hoped.

I'd say the key is to just put it on when ya need it!

^^ Oh you wouldnt believe the amount of 100 rupee treasure chests i have had to give back because my 600 wallet was full

so annoying when ya figure out a puzzle and it ends up being rupees

My biggest annoyance with the game by far. Most irritating on the especially tricky puzzles - put loads of work into it just to see another gosh darned orange rupee. Me want heart piece. Now.

:D Been there, felt that frustration! :D

Biggest head scratcher in the game I have found is the "slide the blocks on the ice" puzzles...

^^^I think the versions of that in OOT got me ready for this one.
Did the both of them in less than ten minutes.

I'm just fighting Zant now in the Twili world.
Got to him last night and then my Chinese got here so I had to save and turn it off.:D

Ya the pushing blocks on the ice dungeon i found fairly hard
the 1st one tool a few mins but the 2nd i was at for ages

now im rooting around city in the sky which is hard enough actually

I pwned the cave of ordeals earlier! :D

Only had to use one of the blue potions too (I had 4 jars of it!!! :o)
Think all I've left to do now is find the last 20 heart segments!

Finished it last night ... must say great game but not as good as Zelda:OOT

41 hours of game play though. Not bad for a story based game these days, certainly required a few marathon gaming sessions over Christmas, and if I had not been off work for the holidays it would probably have taken me a few months at least. And it didn't seem dragged out unnecessairly. Value for money I say :D
Midna, once she has turns out to be the Twilight Princess at the very end and changes back to her natural form, turns out to be hot (sucker for the red heads). Suddenly having her riding around on my back for 41 hours didn't seem as annoying :D

Completed the whole game and never go to the 3rd costume (there is space for it in the inventory screen). There is the normal green "hero outfit", then there is the
    underwater fish outfit
. What is the 3rd outfit, and where do you get it?

    It's the
magic armour. You get it by donating 1000 rupee's to the Goron in Malo Mart in Kakariko. Then bringing the spring water to that sad Goron at the south entrance to Hyrule Castle Town and returning to Kakariko to donate 200 rupee's more. The Magic Armour will be on sale in the new Malo Mart in Hyrule Castle Town centre for 598 rupee's. Not doing the spring water 'quest' will make that 200 rupee donation a 2000 one. Just be aware that the Magic Armour uses rupee's both in moving and taking damage.
