Hi, I came across some briquettes made of compressed sawdust in denmark and brought 2 packs home with me, they are excellent, great heat, burn well, a lot less ash than coal, sticks etc, and they did me about the same lenght of time as 2 bales of briquettes. Was wondering if anyone had come across them anywhere in Ireland.

Ya, I have seen them in some of the petrol stations in Thurles. Got them a few times.
Found they burn a bit too quick. Good to get a fire going or keep a small fire alive, but still top it up with coal for proper heat.
