    Hey,


    What is the proper name for the mouse cable (The round one)? I thought it was a serial cable ...or is it a PS/2 cable?

    Its a PS/2

    Like in the attached image.

    Unless its a really really old mouse that also had a round connector but was much larger.

    Aye...or sometimes called a DIN connector. JFYI you can get adapters...see attached.
    Now the real question is why I know this and why I am replying....because I can I guess :D

    ...and there are PS/2-to-USB converters out there, right? In Dublin, would Peats or Maplins have them?
