I was trying to unsuccessfully make a lurrrve playlist (you know the one you put on to make the mood or so the neighbours cant hear you!!) on my laptop but found it was alot harder than originally expected.
Whats the best mix of songs to put on, start off slow and work up to a few nice ones with a rhythm :) or put soppy all the way> HELP!

    Bolero*

*It's starts off with a simple instrument (like foreplay), then builds to a climax in about 20 minutes.

    There is only *ONE* song

    Sexual Healing by Marvin Gaye

If that's not on it, it's not a love album... *FACT*

Pighead choice of tunes would be picked to reflect the mood in the room at the time.
    All Apologies by Nirvana.

I don't know how anyone could get in the mood with Marvin Gaye, the very thought makes my sexuality crawl into a ball and die.

Thats all very good and well, but making lurve to songs that remind me of ex boyfriends is not the best way to get ya into the mood
Id be like ohh ya rem the time,oh wait that wasnt u.... lol im not a ho ive been with the same guy for 4 years let it be known :)
Although in saying this Iris has always been my favourite

Santana - most but especially - "As the years go passing by"

The Rob Roy soundtrack, stay with it until track 16,17. there is a huge celtic rythem build up, and if you can climax just at the peak, it's like jumping off a cliff on a horse and you have to catch your breath. :D

But Bella by Santana...its the song from Desperado tbh! ;)

As for other suggestions, well off the top of my head

Lifehouse - Everything, You and Me, Simon
    Goo Goo Dolls - Iris
Evanescence - My Immortal (pure cheese I know)
    Matt Nathanson - I Saw
Joesph Arthur - In The Sun

Interesting thread. I've used The Beatles, 1 on occasion, but also try:

    Metallica - Nothing Else Matters
    Santana - Smooth
R Vaughan Williams - Fantasia on a Theme from Thomas Tallis
Leonard Cohen - First We Take Mahattan / Take This Waltz
    Matchbox 20 - Hang

Or anything by Jerry Fish & The Mudbug Club, Herbie Hancock or James Brown

Curtis Mayfield 'Roots' (the whole album) works well.

Joseph-Maurice Ravel's Bolero? I love that... It's bizarrely brilliant but my choice has to be Enrique Iglesias' Hero (Either the Spanish or English version).

If you have the Revolting Cocks song on it's probably best not to tell your girl the band's name!

Air - Premier Symptomes (album) or The Virgin Suicides (album) beautiful stuff.
